8064 cartons in 21 days......8064/21 = 384 cartons per day

the cartons were delivered in cases of 6.....384 / 6 = 64 cases

each of 16 coffee shops received an equal number of cases..
64/16 = 4.....so each coffee shop received 4 cases per day <==

Answer:

4\ cases

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1

Divide the total cartons of juice that the company produces in 21 days by the total days

so

\frac{8,064}{21}\frac{cartons}{days}=384\frac{cartons}{day}

Step 2

Divide the total cartons of juice that the company produces in one day by the total coffee shops

so

\frac{384}{16}\frac{cartons}{coffee-shop}=24\frac{cartons}{coffee-shop}

Step 3

Divide the total cartons of juice that the company delivered per day to each coffee shop by six (number of cartons per case)

so

\frac{24}{6}=4\ cases

1/2 + 5/3 - 1<br>------------------<br> 3/4
Sav [38]
Hey there :)

\frac{ \frac{1}{2}+ \frac{5}{3} -1 }{ \frac{3}{4} }
      ↓ Is the same as
\frac{1}{2} + \frac{5}{3} -1 ÷ \frac{3}{4}

Since it is a division by fraction, we can multiply by what is called the reciprocal
( The attached picture might help you )
( \frac{1}{2} + \frac{5}{3} - 1 ) × \frac{4}{3}
     ↓ For this part, we need the common denominator, which is 6
\frac{1(3)}{2(3)}+ \frac{5(2)}{32)}  \frac{1(6)}{1(6)} × \frac{4}{3}

\frac{3}{6}+ \frac{10}{6}  - \frac{6}{6} × \frac{4}{3}
\frac{7}{6} × \frac{4}{3}
\frac{14}{9} =  1\frac{5}{9}
