The US has a constitution because it keeps our country together and functioning. The constitution ensures US citizens their basic rights. The constitution also separates federal and state powers, and controls federal and state powers. The constitution also creates separation of powers between the judicial, legislative, and executive branch. In everyday US society, the constitution plays a big part. It gives the people of the US their rights and powers. It also gives us freedom. It also specifies what the government can and can not do, which may be useful during court cases.

In the last grievance of the declaration of independence what does "He has excited domestic" mean?
ipn [44]

Answer:

Explanation:

You can't understand this grievance without the next word. It is a very famous part of the declaration. The next word is violence.

Now read your quotation.

He has excited domestic violence ... Jefferson meant that George has done nothing good as far as America is concerned.

In other words, he has made Americans (who at the time were British Subjects) enemies the inhabitants of those already there on the frontiers.

excited means make people act.

domestic means those living in America or the citizens of any country. Domestic is an adjective describing the kind of violence that flooded the country. It means setting one citizen against another citizen (in this case).

This grievance goes on to state that George has encouraged North American Indians to follow their traditions of mercilessly killing every citizen regardless of state, gender or age.

Based on your prior knowledge of battle of Iwo Jima for what other reasons would invasion of the Japanese islands be a concern f
maxonik [38]
It become a concern of the military planners due to the high casualty the marines suffered during the taking of Iwo Jima. Also the battle proved that even though the battle was an American Victory the Japanese army is prepared to die defending and willing to wage a suicide attacks even though they already know that they lost the war. That also attacking the Japanese Home Islands would be a costly attack of lives of american soldiers and the new strategy develop in Iwo Jima would be an arduous battle if the Americans would invade the Japanese Island with the Japanese people that is already to prepare to die fighting.
