All of the transactions that occur in connected markets across the economies of different countries create...
Yuliya22 [10]

The transaction that occurs between diverse industries across countries creates "a globalized economy".

Since the second half of the 20th century, trade between countries has suffered exponential growth. This is due to 2 reasons:

  • Some countries have more developed industries in certain fields. This is what effectively generates trade, as a country will import the goods it does not produce or lacks the conditions to do so.
  • Production factors such as raw materials or workforce are cheaper in certain countries. This has led companies to move their production to these latitudes.

How does the 4-2-1 affect an only child of the One Child Policy?
Nesterboy [21]

Answer:

The 4-2-1 problem surrounding the one-child policy means that only children will have to bear the responsibility of supporting both of their parents and, sometimes, all four of their grandparents in their old age, as they cannot rely on siblings to help them care for their aging family.

Herbert Hoover, “We are at the end of our string. There is nothing more we can do.” FDR, “When you reach the end of your rope, t
Bumek [7]
The Hoover quote shows that his approach to the Great Depression is one of no hope. Hoover tried to implement a couple federal works projects (like the Hoover Dam) to kick start the economy. This limited government role is thanks to Hoover's belief in laissez faire economics, which revolves around the idea that government should be involved as little as possible in the economy. With this in mind, it is easy to understand why Hoover does not give direct financial assistance to American citizens.

FDR, on the other hand, believed that the government should help in times of crisis. FDR uses this concept and develops the "New Deal." This "New Deal" is a policy in which the federal government creates several different agencies and programs to help American citizens recover from the Great Depression. This "can do"attitude reflects his determination and ties into the aforementioned quote.

The Hacienda owners (Hacendados) in order to maintain constant exploit over their workers by maintaining a strict hierarchy in which the workers were practically feudal serfs.
