Okay so the first one is 3 dollars each..because if you subtract 9 from 21 you will be left with 12 dollars so if he spent the money on FOUR tickets it would be 3 because 3 times 4 is 12 :)

For the first one you subtract 9 from 21 then divide that by 4 and get 3

For the second one (21-9)x2 is how you get your answer which would be 24

In Mark's class, there are 15 students with brown hair, 3 students with blonde hair, and 5 students with black hair. What is the
Volgvan

Answer: 3 : 1

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that the ratio of A to B is given by :-

\dfrac{A}{B} or A : B .

Given : Number of students having brown hair = 15

Number of students having black hair = 5

Then , the ratio of students with brown hair to students with black hair will be  :-

=\dfrac{\text{No. of students with brown hair}}{\text{No. of students with black hair}}\\\\=\dfrac{15}{5}=\dfrac{3}{1}

Hence, the ratio of students with brown hair to students with black hair = 3 : 1.
