Answer:

What do you mean by first down?

Explanation:

The oocyte, or unfertilized egg first leaves the ovary via fimbrea and enters the uterine tubes for ovulation. If the oocyte does not become fertilized and transition then to an ovum, then menstruation begins.

This is the process which the oocyte and lining of the uterus (endometrium) is shed! Where it passes through the cervix and exits via the vaginal canal

Hope this was helpful :)

Explanation:

The greater the forces of attraction the higher the boiling point or the greater the polarity the higher the boiling point. ... The other molecules are slightly polar and show the increase in boiling point with molecular weight which is normal. Instead, water boils at +100 C, which is very abnormal.

The amount of biomass that is produced in an area during a given time would be referred to as?
sweet [91]

Answer:

Explanation:

The amount of biomass that is produced in an area during a given time is referred to as primary production/productivity.

<h3>What is biomass?</h3>
  • Renewable organic material obtained from plant and animal sources if referred to as biomass.
  • Primary productivity is the production of organic compounds through the process of photosynthesis, with the help of solar energy.
  • Primary productivity is measured as biomass produced per unit area over a give time period
  • It is usually expressed either in weight or energy.
  • There are two ways to express primary productivity:

a) Gross Primary Productivity(GPP): Takes into account the total energy produced in the ecosystem.

b) Net primary Productivity(NPP): Takes into account, solely the energy used by the producer for respiration.

Life as we know it depends on the genetic code: a set of codons, each made up of three bases in a DNA sequence and corresponding
-BARSIC- [3]

Answer:

5 bases

Explanation:

If there are 17 amino acids and only 2 bases that can be combined in order to make a codon then:

for 4 bases 4^{2} is 16 and it is not enough combination for all 17 amino acids

for 5 bases 5^{2} is 25 combinations (meaning that more than one codon could code for the same amino acid).
