Yes it is because if you round 14 to 15, and add 15 and 15 you get 30. Then do 30 times 3 to get 90. Round this to the nearest hundred and you get 100.

6x - 3 = 5x + 7

You would subtract 5x from both sides. Remember, x = 1x
x - 3 = 7

Lastly, you would add 3 to both sides.
x = 10
