The creation of interchangeable parts greatly changed the workforce, as it called for an increase in the amount of unskilled labor needed. Before interchangeable parts, goods were produced from start to finish by an individual or group. Each of the goods they mad were similar, but not exactly the same.

With the creation of interchangeable parts, now workers could be hired to repeat a simple task over and over again. The focus on interchangeable parts called for a work force that is able to repeat a simple set of directions.

user100 [1]

Answer:

An economic system is an organizational system of the resources and production of a given territory, generally a country. In other words, it is the method by which the economic production of a country and the benefits it produces are organized, regulated and distributed.

The two best-known economic systems today are capitalism and socialism. In the first of these, production is regulated through free competition and little or no state regulation, while in the second, state participation occupies a large part of the country's production.

There are marked differences between the two economic systems: for example, capitalism seeks capital investment through low taxes, and strictly respects private property; while socialism seeks high taxes for a further redistribution of economic capacity, and property rights yield to the common welfare.

Why did african slavery replace indentured servitude in the english colonies after 1676?
Over [174]

Indentured service was intended to last for a set period of time, such as seven years. In the hostile surroundings, English people didn't endure very long.

Portuguese attempts to enslave Native Americans on the Caribbean Islands they 'found' failed as well. The Portuguese quickly discovered that the locals in what is now Ghana were even more eager to give them with slaves than gold since they had built the castle of "St George of the Mine" there a few years earlier.

What is best defines as indentured servant?

Indentured servitude refers to a contract between two individuals, in which one person worked not for money but to repay an indenture, or loan, within a set time period.

What distinguishes indentured servitude from slavery?

While indentured servants work for a predetermined number of years, slavery was a lifetime of forced labor. Indentured service was not a status that could be inherited like slavery. The contracts of indentured slaves could be purchased and sold, but the individuals themselves could not because they were regarded to be property.
