Help please i am stuck on what to do
nikklg [1K]

Answer:

These are confusing Beth , b/c you have to remember that they will add to 100%

Step-by-step explanation:

so

green = 3*  yellow

100% = green + yellow + 35% + 25%

100% = 3* yellow + yellow +60%

40% = 4* yellow

10% = yellow

30% = green

there are 14 purples in the bag , which is 35% of total

14/.35 = 40

there are a total of 40 pins

so

4    are yellow  (10% of 40  or 40* 0.1)

12 are green    (30% of 40  or 40*0.3)

14  are purple  (35% of 40 or 40*0.35)

10  are grey  (25% of 40  or 40*0.25 )

The ratio of the width to the length of a rectangle is 2:3, respectively. Answer each of the following. a By what percent would
Elina [12.6K]

Answer:

The percentage increase in Area of rectangle is 200%

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The  ratio of the width to the length of a rectangle is 2:3

Let The length of rectangle = 2 x

Let The width of rectangle = 3 x

∵ Area of rectangle = length × width

So, A_1 = 2 x × 3 x

Or,  A_1  =  6 x²

<u>Again</u>

The increased length of rectangle = 2 x + 2 x = 4 x

The increase width of rectangle = 3 x + 50% of 3 x

I.e The increase width of rectangle = 3 x + 1.5 x = 4.5 x

∵ Increased Area of rectangle = increased length × increased width

Or,   A_2  = 4 x × 4.5 x  = 18 x²

So, The percentage increase in area = \dfrac{A_2 - A_1}{A_1} × 100

Or, The percentage increase in area = \frac{18 x^{2}-6x^{2}}{6x^{2}} × 100

Or , The percentage increase in area = \dfrac{12}{6} × 100

∴ The percentage increase in area  = 200

Hence, The percentage increase in Area of rectangle is 200% Answer

Someone please help me on this!
Alexxx [7]

Answer & Step-by-step explanation:

This can be proven with the SAS theorem (side-angle-side)

With a perpendicular bisector, the line it bisects is cut directly in half. This creates two equal sides:

GJ=IJ

and it creates two 90° angles:

∠GJH=∠IJH

And because of the reflexive property of congruence:

JH=JH

Side-Angle-Side.
