What is the central idea of the evolution of the new woman
Anuta_ua [19.1K]
"The Evolution of a New Woman" centers around the idea of gaining suffrage for women. The author discusses how women are being highly sexualized and demeaned, and it is taking away from their well-being, and from their ability to even succeed in areas where women were desired to succeed at the time (i.e. if a woman is being oppressed and suppressed, she will likely not be as good as a wife or mother). The text also uses reminders from Irish, British, and American history of groups of people who were pushed to their limits, leading to war and rebellion. These acts as warnings to those who did not wish to grant women the right to vote.

What are some questions you would ask a high schooler about school give some
julia-pushkina [17]

Answer:

As a high schooler myself I would personally ask what classes should you take first because obviously you would want to get your core classes out of the way and then take your electives after because for some schools or it may be all schools you can graduate early if you get all your core classes done. I would also ask which classes are the hardest.

balandron [24]

Answer:

I think it is D.) Scientist have spent years trying to determine how tsunamis can be predicted with greater accuracy.

Explanation:

Words like ain't, you guys, or y'all would not be worlds you would want to put in a formal style or tone.

So, words such as determine, predicted, and greater accuracy, are formal in a way. Just think of it this way, the sentence would sound as if someone who was smart was speaking or someone who is very FORMAL.
