Let
∅=arc tan x

we know that

∅ is an angle whose tangent function is

tan ∅=x/1

Considering the sides of the right triangle.

We have

opposite side <span>=x</span>,

adjacent side <span>=1</span>

and

hypotenuse <span>=<span>√(x</span></span>²+1)

Therefore

the sine of this angle <span>=<span>opposite side/hypotenuse</span></span>

sin ∅=x/√(x²+1)-----> the sign of sine ∅ will depend on the quadrant in which it is located

value of sin ∅ is positive--------->  ∅ belong to the first or second quadrant

value of sin ∅ is negative--------->  ∅ belong to the third or fourth quadrant

the answer is

x/√(x²+1)

Answer:

\boxed{\textsf{ The total surface area of the cuboid is \textbf{62 cm} $\sf ^2$  .}}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that the base area of the cuboid is 7cm² . And it's volume is 21cm³ . We need to find its total surface area . Now here we need to find the height . We can find height as ,

<u>Height</u><u> </u><u>:</u><u>-</u>

\qquad\boxed{\boxed{\sf Height =\dfrac{ Volume}{Area } }}

\sf\implies Height =\dfrac{Volume}{Area} \\\\\sf\implies h =\dfrac{ 21cm^3}{7cm^2}\\\\\implies \boxed{ \pink{\frak { Height = 3 cm.}}}

\rule{200}2

Let's find out the Total surface area .

<u>TSA </u><u>of </u><u>cuboid</u><u> </u><u>:</u><u>-</u><u> </u>

\qquad\boxed{\boxed{\sf TSA_{(cuboid)} =2(lb + bh + hl ) }}

<u>Put </u><u>on</u><u> the</u><u> respective</u><u> values</u><u> </u><u>:</u><u>-</u><u> </u>

\sf\implies TSA_{(cuboid)}= 2( lb + bh + hl )\\\\\sf\implies TSA_{(cuboid)}= 2( 7cm\times 1cm + 1cm\times 3cm + 3cm \times 7 cm ) \\\\\sf\implies TSA_{(cuboid)}=2 ( 7cm ^2+3cm^2+21cm^2 ) \\\\\sf\implies TSA_{(cuboid)}=  2\times 31cm^2 \\\\\sf\implies \boxed{\pink{\frak{ TSA_{(cuboid)}=  62 cm^2}}}

Answer:

377

Step-by-step explanation:

f(x) = 3* 2^(x+2) -7

Let x=5

f(x) = 3* 2^(5+2) -7

Parentheses first

f(x) = 3* 2^(7) -7

Then exponents

f(x) = 3* 128 -7

Then multiply

f(x) = 384 -7

Then subtract

f(x) = 377

Which values of x would make a polynomial equal to zero if the factors of the polynomial were (x-2) and (x-11)?
Mama L [17]
<span>if the factors of the polynomial were (x-2) and (x-11), then if anyone of them is equal "0", a polynomial will be equal zero.
x-2=0
x=2
x-11=0
x=11

A polynomial will be equal 0 if x=2, or x=11.
