Ex. 10 to the square root is 3.16228 since the 1 after 3 is lower then 5 it would be 3. If the number after 3 where higher than 5 you whoops raise it by 1 so it would. Be 4

This is a tough but very good question! I'll try to explain it the best I can, but you may just want to look up "simplifying radicals". What you have to do is look at the number (let's use 50 as an example) and take a look at its factors. The factors of 50 are 1, 2, 5, 10, 25, 50. Then, you try to find the largest factor that IS an even or perfect square (1 doesn't count). One of 50's factors is 25, and the square root of 25 is 5, making 25 a perfect square. Then, you take that largest perfect square and the number that multiplies to the perfect square to get to 50 (25 * 2 = 50, so 2, in this case). Next, you break the square root of 50 into the square of 25 times the square root of 2. You simplify the square root of 25 to 5 to get your final answer of 5 times the square root of 2. Two has no factors that are perfect squares, so you know that's your final answer. If you encounter a number like 2, that doesn't have any perfect square factors from the beginning, you can't simplify it. Sometimes, there are coefficients or variables, but if you want to know about that, I recommend you look it up. I hope this was helpful!

Tom [10]

Answer:

0.08 minutes for a kilometer.

Step-by-step explanation:

If the track is 25 kilometers, and he runs 25 kilometers in 2 minutes, he runs a kilometer in 2÷25 minutes or 0.08 minutes which is 4.8 seconds.

I'm pretty sure the track isn't 25 kilometer or he can't run a lap in 2 minutes. But if so, the answer is 0.08 minutes.
