15 pts!!! Create an interpretive question that can be answered by this excerpt from Little Brother: He slammed his hand down on

the desk and then pointed his finger at me. "The *problem*, Mr. Yallow, is that you've been engaged in criminal conspiracy (a secret plan) to subvert (ruin, break) this school's security system, and you have supplied security countermeasures (ways around the system) to your fellow students. You know that we expelled Graciella Uriarte last week for using one of your devices." Uriarte had gotten a bad rap. She'd bought a radio-jammer from a head-shop near the 16th Street BART station and it had set off the countermeasures in the school hallway. Not my doing, but I felt for her.

Answer:

shape metal by melting it and pouring it into a mold

Explanation:

To cast is to pour a melted metal into a mold so that it acquires the form of the mold. A cast piece is not formed under pressure but rather left to take on the shape of the mold in which it is poured.

Casting can be used for many different types of material, of which some of the most common are plastics and metals since they can be melted relatively easily and their is a demand for them to be made into certain shapes.

If you lived in a society where you were dependent upon your parents totally, as Juliet is, what circumstances would cause you t
siniylev [52]

Answer:

I would take my chances that way if I had to fight for love, freedom or security.

Explanation:

From the context of your question, we can assume that you are referring to the play "Romeo and Juliet" where Juliet takes her place in the family by marrying in secret to Romeo, who belonged to an enemy family of hers.

As stated in the question, Juliet lived in a society where she was completely dependent on her parents and had neither permission nor authority to make any decisions about her life. However, she faced it out of love. I believe that, in my case, I would take the same risk as she if I knew true love, as she did. Also, I would take a risk that way, to protect someone in the family, or to get rid of a very negative situation. Those would be the only ways I would break the authority of my family that I was dependent on.

Based on the information provided, the suffix –ist here most likely means:

“one who practices”

Explanation:

A suffix is/are a group of letters that are added towards the end of a noun or verb which would add more meaning to the word or also change the function of the word.

Regarding the same, the letters –ist is added to the word science which makes it “scientist” and similarly for atom, making it “atomists”. This changes the meaning of the word by making it belong to a person in the form of an occupation that a person holds.
