Christianity, Islam, and Buddhism ____
Alex

Answer:

were able to advance through cultural exchange

Explanation:

The three biggest religions by followers, the Christianity, Islam, and Buddhism all started at some place and then started to spread around on much larger area. All three religions managed to advance through cultural exchange, and managing to get lot of followers in the process. It has to be noted though that the Buddhism was actually the only of the three that spread around in a totally peaceful manner. The Christianity and Islam did spread through cultural exchange, but very often they also forced the people to convert to their religion. The Christianity has abandoned that method, while the Islam is the only of the three that still practices such measures in the present.

Who were the United farm workers? How did they fight for their cause?
maxonik [38]

Answer:

In the early 1960s, in the small town of Delano, California, farmworkers had had enough. They called several strikes to demand higher pay and better working conditions from local grape growers. Their ideas caught on. In 1966, Filipino members of the Agricultural Workers Organizing Committee joined forces with Latino members of the National Farm Workers Association to form the United Farm Workers (UFW). Together they pushed for contracts with powerful California growers—a nearly impossible feat—by staging a nationwide grape boycott.
