Answer: In William Blake's "Infant Sorrow", the infant's final reaction to his plight is B. The infant surrenders to weariness.

Explanation: This newborn baby comes into this world and hears his mother groaning and his father crying. When a baby is born he comes into an unfamiliar and dangerous world, far from the protection of the womb. He feels uncomfortable. Entering this world is not peaceful. In the end, he sulks upon his mother breast.

In lord of the flies chapter 11, what are Jacks plans for Ralph? What earlier events might have foreshadowed this?
Lostsunrise [7]

Answer:

After Ralph’s tense, exciting stand against the hunters, the ending of Lord of the Flies is rife with irony. Ralph had thought the signal fire—a symbol of civilization—was the only way to lure rescuers to the island. Ironically, although it is indeed a fire that lures a ship to the island, it is not an ordered, controlled signal fire but rather the haphazard forest fire Jack’s hunters set solely for the purpose of killing Ralph

I believe that the most fitting answer for this question would be the word "giggle." Even if you have never read this story before, you can assume from the girls' laughter that what is about to happen is going to be amusing and fun. This word is the best hint that something amusing is going to happen. I hope this helps.
