If D is true, why is the quadratic called the Quadratic Parent <em><u>Function</u></em>?

So D is wrong.

A quadratic traces a parabola, so C is wrong.

If it was in Quads 3 and 4 then the formula would be y = - x^2. That's not a parent function. It is one that is derived from the parent. A is wrong

B is the right answer. The vertex is on the origin.

A key property of a quadratic parent function is that its vertex is at the origin

Chinedu sat down to do his homework, which included 30 math problems. He solved 2 problems each minute. Let f(n) be the number o
vova2212 [387]

Answer:

It would be an arithmetic sequence.

Step-by-step explanation:

This is because during each minute, he does another 2 problems. Or, in other words +2 each minute.

This is the result of the sequence during each minute:

(Problems Left): <em>30, 28, 26, 24, 22... 0</em>

Time (Minutes) --->

If it was instead a geometric equation, it would go by a multiple, such as the number 2. Or, ×2 each minute.

During the first minute, he learns 2 problems. But then as each minutes passes it turns into 4, then 8, and etc..

This is the result of the pretend sequence during each minute:       (Problems Left): <em>30, 28, 24, 16, 0</em>

Time (Minutes) --->

The formula would be for this equation would follow

an = a1 + (n-1)d

an is your result.

a1 is the first number you plug in

(n-1) is just there, don't mind it (aka: the term position).

and d is the rate.

So just plug them in from your equation, and you would get this:

an = 30(n-1)2

7 times what equals 1?
Arturiano [62]
For this case, the first thing we must do is define a variable.
 We have then:
 x: unknown number
 Doing the multiplication we have:
 (7) (x) = 1&#10;
 From here, we clear the value of x.
 We have then:
 x =  \frac{1}{7} &#10;
 Therefore, we have:
 (7) ( \frac{1}{7} ) = 1&#10;
 Answer:

7 times 1/7 equals 1
