<span>Some of the major problem that the Roman Empire faced during the 3rd century ere invasion, civil war, economic depression, and plague.  Because of these major problems, the Roman Empire nearly collapsed. The crisis that the empire experience started when Emperor Severus Alexander were assassinated by his own troops.</span>
