The correct answer is c. collective selection.
Herbert Blumer was an American sociologist and a theorist on collective behaviour. A very important part of his work focused on the sociological analysis of fashion. He proposed that the fashion process happens through collective selection and that this process is affected by three factors. Two important factors are modernity and the gradual development and refinement of collective preferences. Finally, collective selection is affected by the fact that fashion changes in a historically continuous manner.

Imagine you are on a committee studying whether or not to make changes to the electoral college system. What would you recommend
11111nata11111 [884]

Absolutely, without a single doubt in my mind, I would change the electoral college system; by completely eradicating it. I'm 18 years old, and I've lived through three elections in my short lifetime. Three elections in which a presidential candidate has won the popular vote; the vote of the people by he will of the people. Two elections in which a presidential candidate has lost the popular vote, and been elected president. The electoral college can oppose the will of the people and elect a president by its own will, which is unethical. Especially unethical in a country that puts such an enormous spoken value on the freedom to vote and create change. When in the reality of the United States the freedom to vote is merely the freedom to go to a ballot box and express an opinion that MAY or MAY NOT make a difference in the vote of the electoral college voters

Sergeeva-Olga [200]

The PET scan is the imaging technique best suited for localizing brain areas, as described in the studies of neural activity.

A PET scan is an imaging procedure that can assist in determining how your tissues and organs function metabolically or biochemically. A radioactive substance (tracer) is used in the PET scan to display both regular and aberrant metabolic activity.

Before a sickness manifests itself on another imaging test, such as computerized tomography (CT) scan or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), a PET scan can frequently detect the aberrant metabolism of the tracer in disorders (MRI).

A PET scan is a useful tool for diagnosing a number of illnesses, such as cancer, heart disease, and brain abnormalities. This information can be used by your doctor to help with condition diagnosis, monitoring, or treatment.

All else equal, how would an increase in the tax rate affect the government purchases multiplier? It increases the multiplier on
podryga [215]

Answer: It decreases the government purchases multiplier.

Explanation: The Government purchases multiplier is the factor by which the income in an economy increases due to government spending. For example if the government introduces $2 miilion into the economy through projects, the total effect on the economy is more than $2 million, it is multiplied through the contractors, their employees, the businesses the employees patronize and so on.

However, an increase in tax rate has the opposite effect on income, it reduces both the Marginal Propensity to Save and Marginal Propensity to consume. An increase in tax rate will reduce the multiplier.

A tax rate increase is a contractionary measure, that it, it reduces the aggregate demand while increased government spending is an expansionary measure, it increases the aggregate demand.
