Eliminate A, definitely not D. In this sentence, it says, "in a flourishing state in a forest." In some way flourishing is modifying the stick.
And since "stick" is used as a noun, your answer is C.

Hope this helps. If not, feel free to ask questions. :)

Explain the difference between two dogs one that is malicious and one that is not .
Likurg_2 [28]

Answer:

One dog could be overtly loving and one could bark at a simple engine rev. The dog that is loving wants to please you, wants you to show it love back. The other dog is scared, maybe the dog was hurt before so it wants to hurt you before you are able to hurt it. Its a sad thing, but dogs run on pure instinct, unlike humans who run on intuition.

_____ is necessary for communication to be considered two-way.
nalin [4]
Feedback is necessary for communication to be considered two-way, because if someone just stated or asked something without any feedback or replies, it would be considered as a one-way communication because you are only sending the message to others. But, if they replied to you, they are sending a message back, making the imaginary arrow come back from a two-way travel. Hope this helps.

This sentence flows better and becomes more universal advice instead of appealing only to the person reading it at the time. If it states "A person should never jog immediately after eating a big meal." the sentence becomes clearer and more open to everyone.
