<span>Not being able to adapt creates competition from those who can adapt, new predators and loss of habitats. Those are all environmental pressures that can limit the growth of a population and lead them to extinction if they are unable to adapt.

This is called Natural selection, if a species can not adapt to its in environment it will b come extinct because for example if you were to have a white mouse in a brown forest it would get eaten instead of having a brown mouse that has adapted, it would be able to survive

Describe how the classical empires in the Mediterranean (Greece &amp; Rome) and the Middle East (Persia) promote trade and proje
Dennis_Churaev [7]

Answer:

In the pre-classical age (8000 B.C.E. to 600 B.C.E.) the first states developed in core civilizations. Then, powerful cities imposed their rule on surrounding areas through conquest and the first empires were born. In the classical age (600 B.C.E. to 600 C.E.) empires grew on a massive scale through territorial conquest with large armies. The growing scale of these empires, along with their increased ethnic and cultural diversity, required more sophisticated methods of governance. They served as major hubs of transregional networks of trade, and they diffused culture, religion, technologies and disease. As empires acquired massive wealth, the unequal distribution of this wealth across social classes placed enormous pressure on the political and social order. Eventually, all of the classical civilizations could not deal with the problems created by their own internal or external crises. In most cases, the belief systems spawned in these empires left enduring cultural footprints even as the empires' political structures disintegrated.

Explain each of the five theories of emotion (James-Lange, Cannon-Bard, Schachter-Singer two-factor theory, Zajonc and LeDoux, a
RideAnS [48]

Answer:

The James-Lang theory states that our experiences of emotion is our awareness of our physiological responses to emotion-arousing stimuli, meaning that your body does certain thing which is then followed by an emotion. For example, your heart racing, and body shaking would be followed by a sudden rush of fear.

The Cannon-Bard theory states that an emotion arousing stimulus simultaneously triggers a physiological response and the subjective experience of an emotion. Disagreeing with the James-Lang theory, the Cannon-Bard suggests that the feeling of fear does not cause your heart rate to increase but your heart rate increasing, does not evoke a feeling of fear, rather, these are both separate occurrences that happen simultaneously.

The two-factor theory states that to experience emotion, you must be physically aroused and cognitively label the arousal. This means that in order to feel an emotion you have to be consciously aware of the stimuli provoking and causing the emotion.

The Zajonc, LeDoux, and Lazarus theory states that some emotions can occur instantly with out conscious appraisal.
