If 12 dozen were bought for $90 that means each CD was bought at the price of $0.66

If he sold all 60 of the CD's for 5 for $12, he'd make $144.

Subtract the income by the original buying price to find his profit. $144 - $90

The peddler made $54 profit.

5*12=60
60 cds =$90
60/5=12( sets of CDs)
12* $12
$144-90= $54

Answer:

a(n) = 10n-1 (the second one)

Step-by-step explanation:

we use formula

a(n) = a +(n-1)d    (a= the first number in the, n=the times we need, d= difference)

a=9

d=9-19=10

a(n) = 9 +(n-1)10

a(n) = 9 +10n-10

a(n) = 10n-1 (the second one)

A jar holds no more than 500 buttons. If 5 people bring 330 buttons each, how many jars are necessary to hold all of the buttons
Strike441 [17]

Answer:

We know

1 jar = 500 buttons

5 people bring 330 buttons EACH

We can find/solve by...

people x buttons = total buttons

total buttons / 500 = number of jars needed

So..

5 x 330 = 1650

1650 / 500 = 3.3

Your answer:

4 jars

Explanation

It's impossible to have 3.3 jars, so you must round up.
