A creation myth or story is a type of narrative usually created by the members of a culture to explain the creation of Earth and life on it. Additionally, these stories can be of different types including ex-nihilo stories, earth diver or world parents. In the case of world parents creation stories or myths, earth and other elements are created as the parents are split which in most myths occurs as the Sky and the Earth divide to form the world. But can also be explained as two beings unite or as one of them is dismembered to form the world; however, in most cases, it occurs as the parents split and it displays the Sky and the Earth as main characters. Therefore, the ones that would be the main characters in a world parents type of creation story are the sky and the Earth as these are seen as the two entities that split to form the Earth.
Interestingly, this story only contains two characters, and both are so similar in terms of their traits that they would be hard to distinguish from each other.
