In five to seven sentences, summarize the main troubles Carter faced, and explain why resolving these problems was so difficult.
FrozenT [24]

Incomplete question. However, I assumed you are referring to former U.S President Jimmy Carter.

Explanation:

Many political analysts believe that among the major troubles faced by Carter included:

 • the threat of rising inflation rate in the country at the time,
 • increase in the rate of unemployment.

It has been said that solving this was difficult for him because of the rising criticism of some of his foreign and domestic policy.

How did slavery change when Texas gained its independence from Mexico?
aliya0001 [1]
Mexico at first did not allow the people of Texas to own slaves. After winning independence and however, Texas allowed slavery. Once slavery was allowed, after a few years of independence, texas asked to enter the US as a slave state.

So Texas went from a territory of Mexico that had slavery banned to a state in the US with slavery (after independence)
