What is the difference between academic writing and informational writing/ entertainment writing ?

The most obvious difference is that academic writing is nonfiction, while entertainment writing is fiction.

Academic writing is a piece to show what you know and an information writing is informing someone about a subject. An entertainment writing is self explanatory, its written for entertainment
