The formula for the area of a circle is PI r (square) or 3.14 * r^2 or 3.14 * r * r, all are the same thing. For 49, they give you the radius is 6.2 ft.

49.
3.14 * 6.2 * 6.2 = 120.7 ft(squared)
50.
diameter = 11 yards
Means: Radius = 5.5 yards (radius is half of a diameter)
3.14 * 5.5 * 5.5 = 94.99 yards ft(squared)

Now just round these values to the nearest tenth if not done so already. 94.99 will be 95.0 rounded to the nearest tenth.

Well fo the first one the formula is πr^2. so this is what we will do:
     πr^2
     3.14x6.2^2
     3.14x38.44
     120.7

     πr^2
     3.14x5.5^2
     3.14x30.25
     95

Theorem

The measure of an exterior angle of a triangle equals the sum of measures of the remote interior angles.

Angle STV is an exterior angle of triangle SRT.

The two remote interior angles to exterior angle STV are angles S and R.

Since the triangle is isosceles, with sides ST and TR equal, angles S and R are equal, so they both measure 27 deg.

<STV = 27 + 27

<STV = 54

PLZ CHECK MY ANSWER. Round your answer to the nearest tenth.
Umnica [9.8K]

Answer:

D. 70.34 cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of sector of a circle is given as θ/360*πr²

Where,

r = radius = 12 cm

θ = 56°

Use 3.14 as π

Plug in the values into the formula and solve

area = \frac{56}{360}*3.14*12^2

area = 70.34

Area of the sector ABC = 70.34 cm^2

The answer is D

function :  y = (-x) - 6

Find x-intercept :

  • (-x) - 6 = 0
  • (-x) = 6
  • x = -6

Find y-intercept :

  • y = (-0) - 6
  • y = -6

mark these two points on both the axis and draw a straight linear graph.

passes coordinates : (0, -6), (-6, 0)

Naya [18.7K]

Answer:

(4.25, - 1.75)

Step-by-step explanation:

Under a reflection in the y- axis

a point (x, y ) → (- x, y ), thus

(- 4.25, - 1.75 ) → (4.25, - 1.75 ) ← original point
