Why would the existence of spheres of influence threaten the United States’ goals in China? Check all of the boxes that apply. T
pogonyaev

Answer:

 • The United States would have trouble trading with China if other countries controlled Chinese trade.
 • The United States would have little influence if China was already divided into areas of foreign control.

Explanation:

The Open Door policy aimed at assuring the United States had equal access to trade in China. The policy reasserted earlier agreements that all countries should have equal access to ports in China, with no favoured "spheres of influence" for one nation or another. The United States was seeking to maintain an equal footing with other nations in the access to trade in China.

What is one ongoing obstacle to peace between Israel and Palestinian Arabs?
puteri [66]

C. The PLO continues to deny Israel's right to exist is your answer.

There has been numerous peace talks, however, the PLO continues to decline each one and continue the war (even though they stated that Israel started it, which is false). Israel fights a defensive war, and has offered to give agreements each time, in which they are not as favorable to Israel at all time, but Palestine does not accept anything short of elimination of the state of Israel. This puts PLO as being considered as a terrorist organization, and had been treated as such by Israel.

Why did WW1 began in Europe.
Naddika [18.5K]

The First World War resulted from festering imperial rivalries and ethnic conflicts in central Europe that set in motion a series of disastrous events and decisions. Europe had developed a system of alliances that divided the continent in two. Democratic Britain and France, along with the Russian Empire, had formed the Triple Entente. Central Powers were comprised of the new German Empire, Austria-Hungary, and Italy. The assassination of the heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne by a Serbian nationalist triggered the world war in August 1914.
