English

"<em>The sonnets are constructed with three quatrains (four-line stanzas) and one couplet (two lines) in the meter of iambic pentameter (like his plays). By the third couplet, the sonnets usually take a turn, and the poet comes to some kind of epiphany or teaches the reader a lesson of some sort.</em>"

HELP ASAP. Write a PARAGRAPH describing the movement of the ocean using AT LEAST THREE examples of PERSONIFICATION.
jolli1 [7]

Here is an example of personification. The ocean sometimes moves like a snail. Other times, it moves the force of a bull charging toward a red-colored flag. When the latter is the case, you don't want to be trapped in it's belly.

<h3>What is personification?</h3>

Personification is the result in literature when a writer uses the qualities of living things or animate objects to describe those that are non-animated or non-living.

In the sentence above, the words that reveal personification are:

  • A bull charging
  • Belly
  • moving like a snail.

I have to write a dissertation on the following question: Is it a good thing to have a strict education for your development? I
makvit [3.9K]

Answer and Explanation:

A rigid education is one that has very well established concepts and that imposes little freedom for those who are submitted to them. Although many people claim that this type of education is abusive and suffocating, we cannot deny that it imposes social advantages on the individuals who go through it and this is something good and progressive in our society.

Rigid education imposes discipline, rationality, politeness and racism. This is because it is based on very well-defined principles, which must be followed completely and totally. An example of benefits that strict education can promote is seen in "Jane Eyre", where the protagonist Jane, who received a very strict education, developed as a very well-controlled person with clear and defined goals, in addition to being able to develop a plan to reach them, without that kind of education, Jane would probably not be so disciplined in her life and could often get lost in her goals.
