Answer:

I believe the answer to be indeed:

6) D

7) A

8) A

Explanation:

For questions 6 and 7, the story is very clear. Jupiter invited tortoise to his wedding and the reason why tortoise didn't go was because he was too lazy and chose to stay home. His laziness created a problem for him then: Jupiter punished tortoise by having him carry his house on his back. Tortoise began to regret not going to the wedding when he realized the other animals could move quickly and easily around, and he couldn't.

For question 8, the conflict is self vs self. Tortoise is not antagonized by nature, by a person, or by technology. He is antagonized by himself, his own laziness is his "enemy" and the cause of his problems. He is his biggest obstacle to overcome.

The word raga means "a pattern of notes having characteristic intervals, rhythms, and embellishments, used as a basis for improvisation". Based on this definition, the word connects to the structure that Bob Kaufman employs in his poem, "Unanimity Has Been Achieved, Not a Dot Less for Its Accidentalness" though the use of free form and improvisation in the poem.

The answer would be letter A.

What does the character Dr.Faustus suggest about the idea of the Renaissance Man???
sattari [20]

So, Dr. Faustus is an embodiment of curiosity gone wild. His blase attitude towards humanistic science is, however, some kind of a scientific decadence: he casts away philosophy and law, to embrace magic, as a relic of medieval obsession over mysticism. In this regard, he is a subversion of the Renaissance Man. He thinks he has already learned all there was to learn about this world, so now he yearns for another kind of knowledge - esoteric, otherworldly, knowledge that isn't exactly a knowledge because you don't have to study long and hard for it, you just have to sell your soul to Lucifer.

Juan is creating notes of information he found so far .which step of research process is he on .
poizon [28]

There are many research processes that can be followed according to the field of the research. However, we can usually think of a 5-step research process for general matters:

 1. Locating/defining the theme/problem or issue;
 2. Designing the project;
 3. Collecting data;
 4. Interpreting research data;
 5. Reporting research findings.

If following these steps, "creating notes of information he found so far" would belong to step 3: collecting data. Those notes must be neat and organized so that they will serve for consultation and even citation in the future. The analysis of the information noted is also important for the development of the research.

Shane attended the Mayor's speech about parking rate increases, while Mary listened to the speech on the radio. Later, Mary said
Alex777 [14]

Answer:

The difference in the messages Mary and Shane received most likely resulted from the fact that Mary and Shane received the message through different channels.

Explanation:

There are essentially three types of communication: verbal, written, and nonverbal. They can be broken down into different channels. For instance, verbal communication can take place in person or through the phone.

In Mary and Shane's case, they both had access to verbal communication via different channels. Shane was there listening to the Mayor in person while Mary listened to the speech on the radio. That in itself might not have provoked different opinions in both listeners. But Shane was also given access to nonverbal communication. That is why he said, "the way the Mayor avoided looking at his constituents" is what made him think the Mayor supported an increase in rates. Eye contact is one of the channels for nonverbal communication. Since Mary did not have access to it, she could not have known better. Receiving the message through different channels is what caused the difference in interpretation by Mary and Shane.
