Amu Darya is one of the two main waterways that flow into the Aral Sea. This river is one of the main rivers of Central Asia, and is formed by merging the Vakhsh and Panj River, on the border between Tajikistan and Afghanistan. It pours into the southern parts of the Aral Sea, located between Kazakhstan on the north and Uzbekistan in the south. In Turkish translation, Aral means "island", "archipelago", because the Aral Sea spills over 1,100 small islands.

The answer is: A.

How is Goode's Interrupted Equal-Area
projection different from the Mercator
projection?
Lorico [155]

Goode is an interrupted, equal-area composite projection composed of 12 regions that form six lobes, each the top section of a Mollified projection, carefully grafted on to six interior regions along the equator. The Mercator is the most famous example of a cylindrical projection.

The Goode homologize projection (or interrupted Goode's homologize projection) is a world map projection that is pseudo- cylindrical, equal-area, and composite. Normally, it is interrupted multiple times. Because of its equal-area property, it is useful for presenting the spatial distribution of phenomena.
