C

The purpose of the satire is really to highlight the actions women wanted to be involved in in order to be considered intelligent.I think the author is telling women that they could think of many ways to show they deserve the admiration of others, mainly men, but all the same they will be seen as beautiful as the stars. The stars appear at night and then with the light of the day they cannot be seen. The persona in the poem is satirical but recognises that women have wits .However , this is a feature which is not always displayed or at least not all of the time.

Explain the difference between a colony and a state.
ololo11 [35]

Where they differ from one another is that a colony is ultimately administrated from the mother country it belongs to, and thus has no say in its governance, whereas in a state they have strong political representation within a nation. ... Which sentence has a subject-verb agreement error? A) A man in a strange cloak and hat is walking on our back porch tonight! B)
balu736 [363]
The answer would be B) One of my sister's friends that she made in her college sorority are a doctor.

The subject-verb error occurs in the words made and are. Made indicates a past-tense event, while are indicates the present-tense. To fix the sentence, you could change are to is.

One of my sister's friends that she made in her college sorority is a doctor.
