The purpose of the satire is really to highlight the actions women wanted to be involved in in order to be considered intelligent.I think the author is telling women that they could think of many ways to show they deserve the admiration of others, mainly men, but all the same they will be seen as beautiful as the stars. The stars appear at night and then with the light of the day they cannot be seen. The persona in the poem is satirical but recognises that women have wits .However , this is a feature which is not always displayed or at least not all of the time.

The answer is A: <span>He praises Franklin D. Roosevelt and thanks the United States for its role in ending the war.

The author softens the criticism by dedicating this paragraph to the praise of FDR for sending American soldier to fight in World War 2, for "</span><span>going into battle, bringing hundreds and thousands of valiant and brave soldiers in America to fight fascism, to fight dictatorship, to fight Hitler." Ultimately, this serves the purpose of lessening the judgement of FDR's own sins regarding the Jewish people.</span>

What does he mean and should I agree with him .. why or why not . <br><br> i need help asap
zlopas [31]
Basically. You have to write an essay on how far you agree with the statement. So write two agree paragraphs and two disagree paragraphs then a conclusion. For agree find quotes or points in the text that mean you agree and then for disagree find quotes or points that mean you disagree. Then decide overall if you agree or disagree.
