Vehicles. We can't do most of the stuff we do now without them. Like, we need dump trucks to carry heavy, heavy loads of garbage to one place. Or like a semi-truck, which helps us move big objects at once without having to walk to the place to drop it off. Trains, planes, buggies, cement haulers, tractor trailers, all of those things are as important as breathing anymore. And telephones; telephones have been used for ages, to help us contact people that are far away, like out of the country. And silverware and plates; people use those all the time! They stop most food accidents, and they can be used to show off their cool designs to other people!

What to do?

Nowadays, if you need something, you go to the closest mall, shell out a few bucks and head home. Thousands of years ago, the process wasn't nearly as simple. If you or someone in your town didn't grow it, herd it or make it, you needed to abandon that desire or else travel for it, sometimes over great distances. For many towns, the effort of trade was too much. Those ancient towns make only rare appearances in our history books.

When one branch of the us government limits the actions of another branch that is an example of which of the following?
choli [55]

The correct answer is C, as when one branch of the United States government limits the actions of another branch that is an example of checks and balances.

Checks and balances are mutual relations of authority that allow the government powers to control each other and resist reciprocal interference, limiting everyone within their own spheres. The purpose of these mechanisms is to induce the ambitions of a power to watch the ambitions of the other powers, and so they are eternally opposed to one another and leave the population safe from government abuses. These mechanisms are designed to maintain the separation of powers.
