All you need to know is that two tangents to a circle from the same point are equal one to the other so for the first problem you got 27=2x-7, solve that and you get 17. then in the second one you can get the left measurements of the triangle because of the tangents. you get TA=9, NG=7 and ER=5. add everything up to get 42 and that’s the answer
