Furkat [3]
<span>He lived through Jim Crow. His father was killed by the Klan but his life insurance company wouldn't pay saying he committed suicide. His head was bashed so hard that his head was nearly severed. Couldn't have been suicide. His mother had a nervous breakdown and never recovered. Malcolm X was 6 years old at the time and spent his childhood in foster homes.

He broke the law as a young man and spent 6 years in prison where he became a Muslim. For years he hated whites. He became well educated by reading and became a black leader. He wanted a black uprising until a few months after Kennedy was assassinated, he traveled to Mecca where he joined a different sect of Muslims that taught racial equality.
