Answer: The correct answer is : Ethiopia was held together by religion and laws and regulations.

Explanation: Ethiopia had military reforms and territorial expansion, then Portuguese missionaries arrived who brought Baroque architecture and modern weapons to Ethiopia. A civil war broke out and all Catholics were expelled from Ethiopia, the country was divided but later reunified. The country had a very important technological and structural advance, defeated an Italian invasion, expanded south and east. Italy launched a second invasion, Ethiopia was a little more than 5 years under Italian occupation, but with the help of some British rebels they managed to expel the Italians. Years later Somalia invaded them but again with the help of British and Cubans they expelled them. Ethiopia experienced a great famine that ended the life of a million people. Currently Ethiopia is still very poor but its economy is growing very fast.

how did most american colonists protest the tea act of 1773? by appointing tea agents by dumping shipments of tea into the harbo
lana66690 [7]

The American colonists protest against the tea act of 1773 by dumping shipments of tea into the harbor.

The tea tax infuriated the colonists in America. They thought the Tea Act was a ploy to get colonial support for the already-enacted tariff. The British East India Company's agents sold tea directly to the American colonies, which hurt colonial merchants' profits.

That's why Tea Act reignited the colonists' hostility to the tax on tea, which they had never acknowledged as constitutional. On December 16, 1773, colonists boarded East India Company ships and threw the tea they were carrying overboard as a sign of their continued protest.

Answer:

1.The main sources of Delhi Sultanate are inscriptions. They are found on old coins, historical monuments, milestones, and tombstones. Monuments are also an important source of information about the Delhi Sultanate.

3.was a ruler of the Delhi Sultanate in the northern part of the Indian subcontinent. She was the first female Muslim ruler of the subcontinent, and the only female Muslim ruler of Delhi.Razia's ascension was challenged by a section of nobles, some of whom ultimately joined her, while the others were defeated. The Turkic nobles who supported her expected her to be a figurehead, but she increasingly asserted her power. This, combined with her appointments of non-Turkic officers to important posts, led to their resentment against her. She was deposed by a group of nobles in April 1240, after having ruled for less than four years. She married one of the rebels – Ikhtiyaruddin Altunia – and attempted to regain the throne, but was defeated by her half-brother and successor Muizuddin Bahram in October that year, and was killed shortly after.

4.Balban, was a powerful ruler of the Slave Dynasty. He ruled from 1266 to 1286. Earlier, he had been a noble in the court of Iltutmish and Nasir-ud-din Mahmud. After becoming the ruler he wanted that the people should show due respect to the Sultan. So he introduced the Persian customs of salutation, known as sijdah and paibos or zaminbos. People did not like that the Sultan should be raised to such great heights. They felt that only God should be shown so much respect and saluted in this way.

5.Malik Kafur was a slave who became a head general in the army of Alauddin Khilji, ruler of the Delhi sultanate from 1296 to 1316 AD. He was originally seized by Alauddin's army after the army conquered the city of Khambhat. He was castrated and made a eunuch.

6.Alauddin successfully fended off the Mongol invasions from the Chagatai Khanate, at Jaran-Manjur (1297–1298), Sivistan (1298), Kili (1299), Delhi (1303), and Amroha (1305). In 1306, his forces achieved a decisive victory against the Mongols near the Ravi riverbank, and later ransacked the Mongol territories in present-day Afghanistan. The military commanders that successfully led his army against the Mongols include Zafar Khan, Ulugh Khan, and his slave-general Malik Kafur.

9. The Lodi Dynasty was established by Bahlol Lodhi in 1451. Bad economic conditions and fast draining treasuries due to continuous wars of succession along with regular invasions by Timur weakened the military capabilities and weakened the lodhi dynasty.

Wanted to avoid another war.

Explanation:

Appeasement is a strategy based on the moral conviction of fear of war that leads to adaption of non retaliative and non-aggressive stance towards aggressors.

The most famous case of appeasement was the appeasement of Adolf Hitler by Prime Minister Chamberlain in the late 1930's.
