A LOSS OF DISSOLVED OXYGEN IN THE WATER is the primary and direct cause of death of aquatic animals during eutrophication or what is also known as hypertrophication. This is the enrichment of a water body with excessive chemical nutrients which can be a problem in marine habitats, as it can cause algal blooms. With this is the occurrence of dense growth of plant life and death of animal life from lack of oxygen.

7. A nerve signal from the brain arrives at the intersection of the nerve and muscle cells and releases acetylcholine from the neuron. This triggers chemical changes in the muscle cell involving ions, including Ca2+. Calcium triggers the thick filaments, made of myosin, to attach to the thin filaments, made of actin, in the muscle cell, and the myosin pulls the actin toward the center of the muscle cell. ATP causes the release of the actin fibers, allowing the muscle to relax and the process to begin again.

What features of integrated pest management make it a good approach to preserving ecosystems?
alekssr [168]

Answer:

Allowing a small but controlled portion of a pest population to remain does less damage to ecosystems, soils, water, and air. Another feature of IPM would be making a habitat more complex, such as mazes, so it can slow the spread of parasites. No-till or low-till agriculture is another feature of IPM because this helps natural enemies of some pests to build up in the soil, whereas plowing destroys the habitats of these enemies.
