African Americans on southern plantations took advantage of the disturbance created by the war to engage in sabotage, and join the war in different ways. They were enlisted to serve in the Infantry, worked as spies or guides for Union forces or served as laborers in the camps. As expected, all of the southern conflicts against the Union's efforts to restrain slavery, fueled the slaves' rebellion against their white masters.

Why did hawks support president lyndon<br> b. johnson's war policy?
Minchanka [31]
Johnson was unwillingly caught up in the hot battle (Vietnam War) of the Cold War. Johnson was the US's only Presidential Administration to be destroyed by the war. He went on nation wide television and flat out said he would not run for president again, and would NOT ACCEPT nomination for the presidency of the United States. He was truly fed-up with the war.

saveliy_v [14]

Answer:

At home, buying war bonds or savings stamps was probably the most common way to support the war. When people bought a bond or a savings stamp, they were lending money to the government. Their money would be paid back with interest after the war.
