The answer would be (-1) (7)(7)(7) because whenever -1 is multiplied by a number, it results in the opposite.
The rule for integer multiplication is: same sign times same sign = positive
different sign times different sign= negative

Since the key word is decreases, we know it is a negative times positive= negative. So any answer that does not have a negative answer will be eliminated.

To make it easy, all the other options are positive. So, that leaves you with the 3rd option.

First off, because the temperature is decreasing, that means the final answer would be negative, or we can also say that there would be a -1 to be multiplied by the change.

Each hour temperature changes by 7. The question also says that temperature keeps on changing for 3 hours. Therefore the temperature change would be by 3 7's, or 7+7+7.

Lastly, add the -1 from the beginning since it is a negative temperature change, the answer is (-1)(7+7+7)

If the radius of a circle with center 0 is 15.5, and the measure of angle AOB is 90, what is the length of arc AB?
Zina [86]

The circumference of the circle is found using the formula C = 2 PI r

Circumference = 2 *PI * 15.5 = 31pi

The angle is 90 degrees, which is 1/4 of a complete circle ( 360 degrees).

The arc length would be 1/4 of the circumference:

Arc length = 31pi / 4 = 7.75PI

Leni [432]

Answer:

y=28/5

Step-by-step explanation:

Okay so for this we can use cross- multiplication. Basically, the product of the numerator of the first number and the denominator of the second is equal to the product of the denominator of the first and the numerator of the second.

What I mean is: 4*7=5*y

so,

28=5y

y=28/5
