If you want to know what is the number of m so first you can add 2 on both sides of equation like : 13 = 5m - 2
                            +2        +2 ⇒ 13 + 2 = 5m ⇒ 15 = 5m ⇒ 15/5 = m ⇒ 3=m :))
i hope this be helpful

Which of the following is the product of the rational expressions shown below? 7x/x-4•x/x+7
Gre4nikov [31]
<h2>The product of the rational expressions\dfrac{7x}{x-4}.\dfrac{x}{x+7} = \dfrac{7x^2}{x^2+3x-28}.</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

We have,

\dfrac{7x}{x-4}.\dfrac{x}{x+7}

To find, the product of the rational expressions \dfrac{7x}{x-4}.\dfrac{x}{x+7} = ?

∴ \dfrac{7x}{x-4}.\dfrac{x}{x+7}

= \dfrac{7x.x}{(x-4)(x+7)}

= \dfrac{7x^2}{(x(x+7)-4(x+7)}

= \dfrac{7x^2}{x^2+7x-4x-28}

= \dfrac{7x^2}{x^2+3x-28}

Thus, the product of the rational expressions \dfrac{7x}{x-4}.\dfrac{x}{x+7} = \dfrac{7x^2}{x^2+3x-28}.

Given that (in picture)...
GuDViN [60]
<h3>Answer:  a = -3 and b = 5</h3>

=================================================

Work Shown:

Multiply top and bottom by \sqrt{2} to rationalize the denominator

\frac{10-\sqrt{18}}{\sqrt{2}}\\\\\frac{\sqrt{2}(10-\sqrt{18})}{\sqrt{2}*\sqrt{2}}\\\\\frac{\sqrt{2}*10-\sqrt{2}*\sqrt{18}}{\sqrt{2*2}}\\\\\frac{\sqrt{2}*10-\sqrt{2*18}}{\sqrt{4}}\\\\\frac{10\sqrt{2}-\sqrt{36}}{2}\\\\\frac{10\sqrt{2}-6}{2}\\\\\frac{-6+10\sqrt{2}}{2}\\\\\frac{2(-3+5\sqrt{2})}{2}\\\\-3+5\sqrt{2}\\\\

We end up with something in the form a+b\sqrt{2} where a = -3 and b = 5

(-3)(+4)=?<br> Can someone tell me the answer to this?
slava [35]

Answer:

-12, or 1 (see explanation)

Step-by-step explanation:

(-3)(+4)

Is the same as

4 * (-3)

which is

-12

Unless your problem is:

(-3) + 4

Then it is the same as

4 - 3

which is

1
