The three main objectives of the Constitution are:
1) It makes a national government which consists of the three branches, with checks and balances among them.
2) It divides power between states and the federal government.
3) It protects the liberties of the American people.

I mean... Eventually some kings left the Papal authority. However, remember the crusades? It united nearly everyone in Europe. Some to the point of making new states.

Some of the peoples it conquered didn't want to be ruled by the Incas and were rebellious, mainly, and it was so big that it couldn't keep the conquered in line very well.
