dimulka [17.4K]

Answer:

1. Narrative pattern involves one central theme that is written out in a clear pattern. It is usually a personalized type of paragraph patter because it makes use of personal pronouns.

2. Definition pattern is those types of paragraphs that contain definition of certain words and their meaning.

3. Process pattern gives guideline on how to perform or execute a particular task.

4. Argument pattern is written to sway the opinion of readers or to persuade them to believe or do something.

5. Cause and effect pattern deals with subjects that have a clear cause and effect. For instance, if the main idea has a cause, then the supporting details will bear the effects of that cause and vice versa.

6. Compare and contrast pattern makes a comparison between two or more things to show the ways they are similar.

7. Description pattern quite simply shows and describes the relationship between two or more distinct things.

8. Classification pattern assigns categories of things according to their structure or organization.
