Basically, you need to make x = ___

When you say 32 more than something, you are basically adding:
32 more than 3 = 35
32 more than 16 = 48
etc.

So, even though you have a letter, it is the same concept...
32 more than d = 32 + d

Into an expression makes...
x = 32 + d

I think that it would be 34+d because if you were trying to get 32 more than a number you would add the number plus the varaible.

Which best describes the solution to 4 – 7? Because –4 + (–7) is an equivalent expression, the answer is –11. Because 4 + (–7) i
ANTONII [103]
The answer to your question would be: Because 4 + (-7) is an equivalent expression, your answer is -3. The reason for this can be described using integers. So lets say you have $4. You owe your brother $7. Since you don't have enough to pay him, you can pay him all your money, but you still have to pay him $3 more. This means technically your balance is $-3, cause if he needs the money, the second you get it he will ask for it. Sorry if this isn't too great of an example, not sure what else I could think of. Pretty much remember when subtracting a number, you can add the negative of the number, because that is the same thing. Hope this helps. Please rate, leave a thanks, and mark a brainliest answer (Not necessarily mine). Thanks, it really helps! :D

Destin walked 2km and Jane walked 4,000 ft. What is the approximate combined distance they walked? Note: 1 Foot (ft) is equal to
Anna11 [10]

Answer: Option C.

Step-by-step explanation:

The data is:

Destin walked 2km

Jane walked 4000ft.

Let's write both of those in the same units.

The data given is:

1ft = 0.0003048km.

and 4000ft is 4000 times that:

4000ft = 4000*1ft = 4000*0.0003048km = 1.22km

Then if we add those, we get:

Total distance = 2km + 1.22km = 3.22km

So we can already discard option D.

Now, we know that:

1km = 0.6214 miles.

then 3.22 km is 3.22 times that amount:

3.22km = 3.22*1km = 3.22*(0.6214 mi) = 2 miles

The correct option is C.
