English writer Robert Bolt wrote the play "A Man for All Seasons" in 1954. It first appeared as a version to the radio, and later for television. The play debuted in the Globe Theater in London, in 1960. It is based on the life of Sir Thomas More (1478-1535) an English philosopher and humanist of the Renaissance that opposed to the theology of Martin Luther and Reformation.
