The answer is 0 because the value of 3 · -4, -12, can only turn to 0 by multiplication by 0. I don't think that makes sense. The answer is 0, anyway.

Multiply out
remember thatn (-) times (+)=(-) so
+3 times -4=-12
-12x=0
the only number that will work is 0 since 0 times anything=0

Find the midpoint of the line segment with the given endpoints. 1) (-4, -9), (-6, -6)
weeeeeb [17]

Answer:

The answer is

<h2>( - 5 \: , \:  -  \frac{15}{2} )</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

The midpoint M of two endpoints of a given line segment can be found by using the formula

<h3>M = ( \frac{x1 + x2}{2}  , \frac{y1 + y2}{2} )</h3>

where

(x1 , y1) and (x2 , y2) are the points

From the question the points are

(-4, -9), (-6, -6)

The midpoint is

<h3>M = ( \frac{ - 4 - 6}{2}  , \:  \frac{ - 9 - 6}{2} ) \\  = ( -  \frac{10}{2} , -  \frac{15}{2} )</h3>

We have the final answer as

<h3>( - 5 \: , \:  -  \frac{15}{2} )</h3>

Hope this helps you

(4x-4) (3x+17)<br><br> The lines. intersect at point C. What is the value of X?
Marina86 [1]

Answer:

(21, 80)

Step-by-step explanation:

We have the two lines y = 4x -4  and y = 3x + 17. The point 'C' will be given by the interception of them, as follows:

4x -4 = 3x + 17

Solving for 'x':

x = 21

Now, to find 'y' we have:

y = 4(21) -4 = 80

Therefore, they intercept at: (21, 80)
