The correct answer is emigrate.

If an ecosystem is disturbed, goes out of balance, and cannot return to a state of equilibrium, the species living there most likely emigrate.

When an ecosystem is disturbed like the Amazons in Brasil with the human invasion of the forest, or goes out of balance like in Yosemite park in Wyoming whit the killing of wolves, and cannot return to a state of equilibrium, the spices living there most likely emigrate. It is probable that some species try to adapt to the new, different, and difficult circumstances, but in some cases, the species die instead of adapting. Another terrible case is when petroleum spills over the ocean creating severe ecological damage

Governments should enforce better laws to protect nature in all the world and people should be more responsible to take care of the limited resources that nature provides.

If an ecosystem is disturbed, it becomes unbalanced and can not return to the stable of equal equilibrium, the most probable thing is that the species that live there unbalance their way of life. If the imbalance is not in a serious state, they are likely to adapt to the situation and change their habits to survive, unfortunately if the imbalance is imminent will come the time when species reach extinction.
