Filtering is a process through which a person presents his/her information in a deliberately manipulating way so can the recipient will make his/her more chances to be acceptable or more favorable among another candidate. It is a type of process in which a candidate avoids unwanted information to the presence of others. The main purpose of filtering is to avoid the overloading of the information to filter the information in a positive essence. There are many tools through which a person can filter their information and use it more authentically. Thus Cindy omitted the unauthentic information and used proper information that can make more chances for her to be accepted and more favorable in management.
