Well your friend offers to pay your 4 pennies per job but since you wanted to quadruple that you are now being paid 16 pennies per job. To find out how many pennies you will have after nine job you will have to make an algebraic expression. In this case it would be 16x (x being the about of jobs you do) to solve you would replace the x with a 9 since you’re doing 9 jobs: 16(9) which would equal 144 pennies, or $1.44

Solve. Justify your responses.
Basile [38]

Answer/Step-by-step explanation:

\overline{AB} \parallel \overline{CD} \parallel \overline{EF} ----› Given

\angle 1 + \angle 2 = 180 ----› consecutive interior angles are supplementary

\angle 3 + \angle 4 = 180 ----› consecutive interior angles are supplementary

Therefore:

\angle 1 + \angle 2 + \angle 3 + \angle 4 = 360

3x+4=-4x-1<br> solve for x
rewona [7]

Answer: x=−5/7

Step 1. Add 4x to both sides of the equation.

3x+4+4x=−4x−1+4x

7x+4=−1

Step 2. Now you subtract 4 from both sides.

7x+4−4=−1−4

7x=−5

Step 3. Then divide both sides by 7.

7x/7=-5/7

Final Answer: x=-5/7

Hope I could help! :)
