Palm trees reproduce from seed cones. Land plants are considered bryophyte because they do not have vascular tissue and are called non-vascular plants. Some do have special tissue to be able to transport water but because they don't contain lignin, it it's not considered to be a vascular tissue.

Answer: gymnosperm

Explanation:

The development of seed as an evolutionary innovation in some lineages of vascular plants was certainly one of the most spectacular events in the evolution of these plants. Seed plants are, by far, the most diverse lineage inside vascular plants.Gymnosperms are plants with a vegetative body organized in root, stem, and leaves, with, in many cases, secondary growth. They are tracheophytes, presenting xylem and phloem.

Gymnosperms, as the name says, have "naked seeds", that is, their eggs and seeds are exposed. In some groups, these reproductive elements are grouped into structures called strobiles or cones. These cones are modified stem branches of determined growth, formed by an axis with sporophytes or ovuliferous scales that carry sporangia.

Morphine 4mg IV push is ordered. The vial states 10mg/mL. How many mL will you give?
Marina CMI [18]

Answer:

If a vial of morphine has 10 mg/mL, and a dose of 4 mg is required to be administered intravenously, 04 mL must be administered to fulfill the indication.

Explanation:

Morphine is a drug, an opioid derivative, with a potent analgesic and sedative effect. Its use is intended for acute or chronic severe pain, mainly related to cardiovascular disease, cancer or severe trauma.

One vial of morphine vial has a concentration of 10 mg/mL, so if 4 mg is required, a simple calculation must be made:

Morphine: 10 mg ------------ 1 mL

Dose:          4 mg ------------ X

X = (4 x 1)/ 10

X = 4/10

X = 0.4 mL

To administer 4 mg of intravenous morphine, 0.4 mL of the injection should be used.
