Answer:

Explanation:

The first Europeans to enter Southern Africa were the Portuguese, who from the 15th century edged their way around the African coast in the hope of outflanking Islam, finding a sea route to the riches of India, and discovering additional sources of food. They reached the Kongo kingdom in northwestern Angola in 1482–83; early in 1488 Bartolomeu Dias rounded the southern tip of the continent; and just over a decade later Vasco da Gama sailed along the east coast of Africa before striking out to India. Although the voyages were initially unpromising, they marked the beginning of the integration of the subcontinent into the new world economy and the dominance of Europeans over the indigenous inhabitants.

How did the role of the Japanese emperor differ from Chinese emperor??
brilliants [131]
Japanese Imperial family had been around for milleniums, but Chinese Imperial family changed each time the dynasty had changed.

Why? While Chinese emperor was like a 'King' who ruled the country by power, Japanese emperor was more like the 'pope' who have had power at one stage but later turned into nothing but a subject of religious belief.

In China, the country had 13 different dynasties over 4 milleniums up until early 20th century when the 'Last Emperor' resigned. Each Imeprial family was extincted when a new one arose. The country was basically ruled by the Emperors throughout the history with exceptions of the periods of civil wars.

In Japan, the Imperial family was only in charge of the country before 11th century, and the small period after the Meiji Restoration and before WWII ended.

It can be said that the process that allowed the appearance of early civilizations was after the passage from a nomadic way of life to a sedentary way of life. Many nomadic peoples settled in a place after the so-called agricultural revolution.

Agriculture and Livestock allowed the obtaining of food through land work and the domestication of animals. This abundance of food was the reason behind the increase in the number of people.

The need to protect and manage food led people to gather, giving rise to the first cities.
