Anti-terrorism legislation is a federal law that was passed/ accepted for the protection of the people's freedom and to maintain order in society. This legislation is seen by most as a huge improvement in securing the safety of the people.

But at the same time, there are those who oppose the legislation by stating that it only puts too much emphasis on the idea of order. Order is necessary but not at the level of emphasis that the government is making it. It is the belief that in doing so, it will only lead to the focus on maintaining order and the need to keep it, prompting other aspects such as freedom and equality to be deemed less important.
