How do diction, imagery, and figurative language develop the tone in stanza 3? On Turning Ten
Over [174]
Collins uses three metaphors to describe the speaker's feelings on turning ten, “a kind of measles of the spirit, / a mumps of the psyche, / a disfiguring chicken pox of the soul.” These metaphors are incredibly complex, using language that would not typically be associated with a ten year old.

photoshop1234 [79]

The intended audience is High school students. As the assigment explains, the presentation will be given to the speaker's classmates, that is high school students. In addition, although teachers will be present in the presentation, and will keep the results of the research, it is going to be shared with future students.

Remember that the intended audience is the group of people for whom you do something, in this case give a presentation.
