The Women and Children who were mostly Blacks were seriously exploited and manhandled by their employers at the factory. they had no worker incentive and they were even paid lower than the average Minimum wage. the white Adult male workers at the factory where the highest paid and because of the high pay, most factory owners turned towards employing children and women to do the same job at a very low pay.
